looking for reviews for colonial collection engineered flooring

Hello, I was hoping to get some real world feedback on some engineered flooring. The brand is Colonial Collection and the style is Frankfurt. I believe it’s distributed by Artisan Hardwoods.

I picked up a sample box and it looks pretty good.
6mm veneer, 5/8 overall thickness, uv cured urethane finish
The thing that kinda threw me off was it has a solid wood substrate instead of the typical plywood you see.
Made in China with not much carb info.
Box says “formaldehyde safe engineered flooring “
Cost is $6 sqft.

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

I'm looking at the same Company however in the Burlington we are quoted $9.86 SF

I actually didn't. We changed our mind last second and went with Mamre.

Hi @sev65 im looking at Colonial collection as well, Jamestown is the one, would u share me where your price was quoted mentioned above pls? im getting quoted for 10 to 12 dollars. thank you

State College Distributors has it for $6,.50 retail price. Your contractor might be able to get it a little more reasonable.

Does anyone have a photo of the Burlington on their floor? I'm thinking of doing Burlington, but worried I'm seeing some shades purple in the sample

Doubtful if you get a response Michelle. What's the consensus about the company with general reviews on the web? Houzz is most trusted in my opinion and others can be manipulated including some that play an old fashioned protection game.

I’m also looking at the Colonial Collection Jamestown. Out of many brand and samples I think this fits best in my house. But concerned that two of you were going to use it but then decided not to. Sev65, do you mind telling me why you changed your mind. And what Mamre product did you use? Photos? Thank you!
