Hi All, My sister is setting up her new home and I get to help! I'm so excited for her and her and her family! He living room, dining room and kitchen is all in one long room.

A few questions for you all:

1. what color wood would you recommend for the dining area given the floor color? the floor has an orange shiny tint to it. we're looking for the best match. And chairs?

2. how would you suggest setting up the area behind the kitchen island? (the living area will be the front of the house, dining after, which leaves an empty space behind the island leading to the back door to the backyard). I was thinking perhaps a cozy nook area but that's challenging because if it takes up too much space it blocks the exit. ur ideas are welcome!

3. Decor ideas for the long wall on the left?
