Do you have an architect involved? Not sure how you get from the garage into the house, or the unit either one. That’s got to be a firewall.

Yes - my architect designed the plans You enter through the door that faces the laundry room.

It’s a smallish space, could you have one shared bath?

Definitely small space. The 1 shared bath design only maximized the living room space and minimized the kitchenette which isn't ideal too.
