Pull -Out shelves vs. regular shelves in Pantry
Comments (3)In one kitchen redo, we put in IKEA cabinets and used their pantry cupboard with pull out shelves (about 8). I loved them and found it most conveniently that small kitchen. However, it was only one door, not two as you're planning....See MoreHow much weight can Dynasty/Omega pull-out pantry shelves handle?
Comments (13)I love them and couldn't be happier! Originally I had a different contractor who used a less expensive line of cabinets. When the original contractor couldn't do the job, I hired Bray and Scarf (Columbia, MD) and they use Dynasty/Omega cabinets. Even though they are more expensive than my original choice I'm very happy things worked out the way they did and feel the added expense was well worth it. The cabinets are very well made and the finish is beautiful and easy to keep clean. When I was cabinet shopping I noticed some of the cabinets felt flimsy when I opened them. I assumed it was because they were 42" instead of the 30" I was used to. But that is NOT the case with the Dynasty doors. They are nice and sturdy and feel solid. They close quietly and easily. I love my pantry cabinet. It holds a tremendous amount and I can find everything easily. I also put in their 3-drawer pots and pans cabinets (flanking the stove in picture below) and I love them. The doorstyle is Renner maple painted in pearl white for the perimeter cabinets. The island/penisula is Renner maple finished in pumice. I upgraded to the 5 piece drawer style (rather than the plain ones)....See MoreIs this a bad tile install or am I being too picky?
Comments (42)Oh no, don't get me wrong of course they should fix what you don't like in that room(what you've picked is amazing) I'm just saying maybe consider someone else for future tile work. And as far as the little cuts I just say that because they could center it from the middle and make the cut to wrap the corner and but them up so it looks like a continuos tile. The little cuts in my lame opinion( but they are like a holes, everyone has one ) should be at the ends so they are afterthoughts, not in the part you will always stare at. Good luck!...See MoreAm I being too picky? New Bernhardt sofa with “wavy” welting...
Comments (35)Chrisstack, My cushions look better/okay but not the way they would have had the welting been cut on the bias as it should have been. I knew they were not perfect when I got them back after the repair but I dI’d not have the energy to make all the phone calls to get them to return it to the manufacturer. Decided it just wasn’T that important with other things I had going on. The sofa does not get used a lot ; if it did I wonder if it would look worse now. Is your problem the result of the welting not being cut on the bias do you know? Good luck. I hope you get yours rectified. I do not know that the stiff fabric is the reason. I have not particularly soft leather chairs and the welting on those is perfectly straight....See MoreJennifer Jones
