Hello all, 1st time poster and a long time lurker!

Ive nearly finished the main section in the basement and in 2 minds about adding 2 extra recessed lights in different areas.

Space 1 - Hallway; In this area, Id like to add an extra light but Im not sure where to add it.

• Choice 1: The yellow circle is 3 and a half feet away from the installed spot light on an 8 ft celing. This is the furthest I think I can place it without having some of the light blocked from where the ceiling drops.
• Choice 2: The green circle, for location I think it is the best place but Im wary because this dropped ceiling 7ft high. My concern is whether it would be too in the the face for someone who is around 6ft walks past it, would that bother some of the taller folk here since its a hallway and not a space intended for long occupation?

Space 2 - Under stairs / small office area;

• Would it be a good choice to place light just next to the under space of the stairs in this office area. The light would be 3.5ft away from the installed light on a 6ft ceiling. Im not even sure what I could do with that space anyway!

Or, should I leave it as is, or add another light again where the ceiling drops on the other side?

I have a final inspection at the end of next week so just trying to finish the electrical portion before we started moving kids play stuff into the basement. She excited to play there for sure!
