Upholstery and fabrics should drive the paint color choices. Your upholstery looks to be black, so basically a neutral. Your major color influence is the carpet, so you'll have to work with that if you're not replacing it.

IMO the layout on this huge wall could be much better like you see ablve.

I would go with color that is not clash with carpet.

Thanks everyone! The carpet does look peach in that picture for some reason... but its more of a neutral color... here is a 'before' pic. still a work in progress but this room has really come a long way thanks to all of your help!!!

@Celery. Visualization, Rendering images- what are the names of those paints? do you think they go good with this more accurate shade of carpet?

The first one is Grecian Ivory SW. I did not select any certain color, I just show you what would work.
