I feel your pain. Just pulled up the jute rugs in my hallway and was horrified by the amount if dust. I don’t think jute is meant for high traffic areas. It must break down over time.

@NellyBluth So many people have them. I just feel like maybe I’m getting the wrong kind. I love the neutral look of them.

Are you putting a pad underneath your rug? That should help prevent breakdown.
