This is the one I ordered but I don't find one listed as a climber with a name like it on HMF etc. But there are a couple of other Mme Jean xxx roses.

Then this rose Mme Jean Gaujard looks sort of like it to me....

It is a new rose I think. It says it was just bred by the Schmidt's who I believe own Palatine. Renee Schmidt also bread Dream Land, an excellent rose so far.

I got one too - potted it up and it has fresh new leaves on it.......got a good start. Cant wait to see the blooms!

The plant is very healthy and has been growing well but this year so far ththe blooms have been small and dry looking. I need to give it more water and I'm not judging it until next year. The real stand out from my Palatine order has been Souvenir de Louis Amade. Its breathtaking.

i posted some pictures a few hours ago, but they seem to have disappeared.

in my garden mme jean was beautiful. very healthy and as the season progressed the bloom count went up and the size of each bloom increased to about 3 1/2-4" each. these pictures are the very first blooms way back in march, i'm sorry i don't have any newer ones.
