You could add some lighting under the kitchen cabinet, and add another light near the stove.

The old wall fan could stand a replacing but maybe those are pretty functional and youdon’t want to mess around w it? A better venting hood might give a better cooking experience in case that’s a goal. Base cab drawers goes without saying ...and single basin sink with a nudge of dishwasher to the left , out of the corner, a few inches....then I’d move fridge to the left on that wall and place either pantry cab on right side but probably cabinet and counter there on the end For landing. Spend on French door fridge. An appliance package generally would be an upgrade but budget has to be determined ...those base drawers are not the cheapest.

It looks like you are renting out with all the furnishings, it’s a short term rental I am guessing. The ceiling above the stove looks low. I am wondering if you switch fridge and stove, you could add a hood above the stove. Cooking under a low celling can create uneasy feeling for some.

Swapping the fridge and range sounds like a great idea. Your kitchen would follow the “ice, water, stone, fire” workflow, if you could find a fridge that would fit in that space. It also seems like a smarter use of overhead space. You’d have fridge landings on both sides, and a longer continuous prep space between the sink and range. I would use the counter on the right of the fridge for coffee, microwave, or bar. Really cute space!
