More expensive plan with trickier bathroom placement but more of a dining room.

we need to see measurements without them there is no context as to scale. Naming the spaces is helpful and for sure that angled bay window wall will have to go of course to open that space and you realize when you make this an actual part of your home not a porch it will all have to be redone properly so like an addition .

Would swapping your current bathroom with your laundry room be a possibility?

I like your first plan - it will be a nice great room experience - just make sure that your designer helps place the living room furnitrue as well so you cn see if you comfortably fit tht and a table. That is very important. I would also change the powder to a full bath so that front room could be used as a bedroom if you should need to be living on the main floor for some reason. The space is there - it wouldn't take much

The formal dining becomes an office. I don’t have one with dimensions marked, but the island will be 6’.
