I like your selection, I am wondering what the ceiling height is?

sorry meant the ceiling height is 14 feet its a barrel ceiling so that area is tall. Other rooms areas near it are around 10.5"

Then it is substantial enough for the space, and won't get lost. to give you some context these are probably about that size.

of course, those lights do not look good in those halls..............

To be clear though, it does matter what your over all style is.

I had another question- forgot to mention that we have cans in between the fixtures. Do you think both can be centered in the hallway. They are not equidistant though.

What color doors are you going to have? Is the part that is in the middle of the entryway? Now seeing this photo the one you picked maybe too much. I think you need something less intrusive, as there seems to be a lot going on. Are there any hanging lights nearby this hallway?

Thanks so much for your input. Yes the lights will be in the middle. The ones to the right are canned lights. The color is going to be white for all ceilings with a very light grey for the rest of the walls on both sides.

maybe you need to wait just a little longer on this choice.

It really depends on what is happening around it, that house has nothing farm house about it at all ....................its just a hallway with bookcases. Im not sure your hall even really needs hanging lights.
