U shaped laundry room please help me make this more functional!

I originally wanted a bench, a usable folding corner, a place for a rolling hamper, folding racks and an iron! I had a deeper mudroom/laundry at one time but after concrete mistakes and support beam placement my laundry room depth shrunk by 1 ft and now I have a dilemma! I need some help because I feel like I have lost my original wants of more storage and counter space. I can not move walls, plumbing or windows. Please help me I have already purchased Maytag frontloaders.

Would be better to wrap the counter around on the left and turn the cabinets to the sides of the walls instead of framing the window? I thought of stopping the counter at the sink end just so I can reach the corner of the washer dryer and maybe put a 20” utility cabinet there?

The bench on the left can go if needed. There are a few other obstacles. A light switch to the right of the window is about 25” from the wall. And there is a vent on the floor along the left wall about half way.

I'd try laying it out with the sink across from the W/D, and the folding counter under the window. I think everything will be more usable that way.

Iwouldn’t keep the upper cabinet in the corner since you may not be able to really reach in there to get what you need out of it.. can you do bench on left well and hooks and hanging cabinets? I think you have to decide besides sink and w/d what are the most important things you feel you must have in there and go from there

I think I will eliminate the upper on the right. I am pretty tall 5’ 10” so it’s not terrible but I don’t know if I would be able to reach around and over the w/d. My height is also why I wanted them up off the floor and didn’t want them stacked. I keep overthinking this and try to look at this picture of the farmhouse kitchen I used for years. It was cooked in for 50+ years by my in laws and know when I look back at it I think how was it?

I think I’m losing my mind after all it’s just a laundry room....
