Giving up on bananas.

I was told it was 'Ice Cream'..but its not. So after five year and a few crops..out it goes. Not worth using precious water on a banana plant that does not have sweet bananas. Plus,the winter haggard look...hate seeing that. Even if they are much water!..and one bunch or two a year is a long wait and very short harvest.

I had planted a HASS avocado very close to it and now I can let the tasty Avocado have the whole area. Once cados get rooted deep in the bay area? They need very little water to do fine. Average at most for under ten year old trees..older trees don't even need anything but rain water.
