I would make it more farm house by getting rid of shelves cover bench in black and whites checks and those large basket wall hanging in white a couple of pillows if there's room or a large country sign

Like the bench. While I'd not want to dust the open shelves, if you don't mind keep them, too.

You might consider something larger for the wall over the bench.

Perhaps something like this the same width as the bench.
