Sunroom Conversion: Becoming eating & lounge area

We are remodeling the kitchen and the layout now has the kitchen table moved to the sunroom. With that said today, we moved the furniture around as the diagram shows to get the overall feel. One meal in and we like it. Now its time to pull it together.

Our dilemma:

1. We have no lighting. Only the ceiling fan which will be removed. There is off lighting from the kitchen, but that is not sufficient. We need either table lighting and lounge lighting. Would like the lighting to tie into the main kitchen island.

2. Dining table. Currently using a round table with a leaf. Looking for seating of at least 6. Currently there appears enough room to move around the table

3. Shading. The summer, is brutal in this room from 1PM til sunset. You need shades to eat. Need a way to control shading, either with shades or curtains.

4. Carpets to pull it all together and reduce the noise. The brown floor stays due to cost of replacement.

Things we want to keep:

* Red telescope - Only because its a conversation piece. But willing to remove.

* Black chest - Behind the table

Photos oddly show lots light, which is really not the case. Also included is a view of the island.
