I would do a gray close to your tile color.

Match the grout color to tile color. Only a tad darker if available options dictates that. I’m seeing it as dark khaki.

Thanks very much! We are thinking to go darker as well, initially we thought light grey but now are realizing that will likely show any imperfections (the backsplash was laid in sheets versus individually).
