Bathroom heating - replacing vanity and toe kick space heater

I've removed my bathroom vanity, and bought a smaller one to replace it. The old one had a kick space / toe kick heater underneath the cabinet... the new vanity has legs and is open on the bottom so that clunky thing won't work. I've searched around for advice on what to do for an alternative heating solution, but am having a really hard time figuring it out. I'm going to hire an electrician to do the work, but I'd like to have a clue about the most cost-effective, attractive (minimal) solution. It's a top floor condo (so it's warm already), and the bathroom is small, measuring 63" x 85" total. There are doors on either end, so the available wall space is minimal for a baseboard. Most heating options seem so ugly. Would a wall mounted heater be good? Or something underfloor? I'm replacing the lino with white penny tile (yippee!). Thanks for any ideas!

Does this bathroom have an ceiling exhaust fan? If it does you could install a combination light, exhaust fan, and heater. One model that gets great reviews is the Panasonic FV-11VHL2. Installing the companion control switch, allows you to control the fan, light, and heat independently.

Was it a forced air duct under the old vanity or some kind of electric unit. I don't see any electrical , but you may have already dealt with the old wire.

The wiring is what's coming out of that hole in the corner of the room, in the middle photo. It's an electrical unit (Dimplex), the big grey lump there. It's still hardwired, I just moved it out of the room in the third pic.

If there is enough wall space, a flat-panel electric heater might work. They come in different shapes. Some double as towel warmers.

Broan and Dimplex make some narrow wall and register heaters that might fit between the vanity and the door (example, example). Of course, I don't know how pleasant it would be to stand in front of the vanity while the heater was running.

Yes it does, mike_home. I love this idea, actually! It's perfect, and would be nice to have an extra light. That particular model is a little on the pricey side in Canada, from what I can see, but I'll look around for options. Thank you!!

You might find an equivalent Broan model but if you want a quiet fan Panasonic is the best.

If you're going to replace the lino with tile then electric in floor heating is the way to go.

It's not very expensive.

Design Girl has a great idea - you should install an electric heating matt under the tile. Warmly Your's makes one but my personal favorite is the Schluter system. It's a de-coupling matt and an electric tile warmer as well. Considering your application it won't warm the room but you'll feel warm and it's controlled via a programmable thermostat - expect to invest about $1,200.00 for material and then labor - watch the Utube video....

I live in a condo and have the heater/exhaust that mike_home suggested. I have had it for 2 years. I had a thermostat installed to control the heat. I like it very much

mike_home, I have a ceiling fan/ heating light combo and the two fast-food like lights do not give enough heat and they don't last long. Constant replacing of bulbs have become an expensive proposition. The reason may be the size of my bathroom at 10x10

If you have room for it on the wall, Convectair has nice wall heaters.
