Upper 60s here for the rest of the week, but we're going to Palm Springs for Modernism Week, and it will be in the mid 70s there. Clear and sunny both places.

We are experiencing one of our mildest winters ever. Here it is mid Feb and there's no ice on the pond. Used to be that didn't happen until early to mid April.

It's snowing hard here in KC. 2" so far. The next 2 mornings are supposed to get into the single digits. Starting Saturday we're supposed to be back up above normal thru the end of the month.

It's about 35 degrees here now and it's been snowing all day, but melting as it hits the ground. Some of the snowflakes have been big and beautiful. It's suppose to get down to 12 tonight and about 26 tomorrow. The roads should be nice and slick for the morning trek.

Same here as at your place, Sue! It started snowing at about 3:30. The grass was completely covered by 5pm.

Here in North Houston it's a my wet icky day. Temp currently is 53. Supposed to be sunny tomorrow and much warmer.

This kind of up and down of temperatures and humidity is killing us. We are both still sick. Mine has turned to an infection.

-26 C here and very windy so the windchill has been in the -38 range. Can't complain as this is the first of this weather in a long time. Some winters, it is like this for weeks on end.

Weather here and all "winter" has been waaaaay too warm. We've had no winter at all--temps regularly getting in the high 60s in the day, sometimes higher. Perennials are beginning to sprout, insects appearing. And just 5 years ago this time of year it was very cold, never got above freezing for over 2 weeks and a lot of snow.

Climate has changed drastically here--more rapidly in the last 5 years than in the 10 before that, but gardeners and farmers could see it every year.

Coastal Carolina , calling for 80 today. Never know when we wake up if we need our insulated clothes or shorts for the day.

Teetering between freezing and not freezing, so a mix of snow and rain which is really nasty and makes for awful driving conditions. Last evening, sat down to watch a movie and it was dry out, finished, go to let the dog out and everything is covered in a heavy blanket of snow. Limbs hanging down from the weight of the snow. This morning, a lot of it has melted from the rain we got on top of the snow. It is supposed to hang around mid thirties today all day. I think tomorrow it is supposed to be very cold but I think most of the snow is over. If you love sun, never move to NE Ohio, it never is sunny during the winter here. I think we have had maybe a half dozen sunny days since last year...HAHA!

Snow last night left 3.5" here, north of Chicago, a couple of miles west of Lake Michigan. More flakes now that are just wandering around, debating where to land. Temperature is dropping from 32F this morning; 17F now, and going much, much lower for a couple of days. We've had one cold *zap* in November, and really nothing worth commenting on until now. Hoping Cold = Sun!

We got off the boat on Tuesday afternoon and it was amazing weather in San Francisco - clear, sunny and mid-60's. People were wearing shorts.

We arrived home from our vacation last night and today and for the next several days, it is going to be clear, sunny and high 50's to low 60's. We always get a burst of spring like weather in early to mid February that brings people outdoors in their t-shirts. By the end of February winter weather returns, but it sure is nice to have that respite from cold, rain and snow.

Pretty darn nice in SoCal too! Today is sunny and 70-ish.

Yesterday when you posted this thread our temp was about 40 with rain. My road was slush-covered from freezing rain and sleet from the night before. Thick fog everywhere. This morning the ground is snow covered again, and the temp is 18º. The forecast says that will be our high for today. Tonight down to 2º.

Rollercoaster here. Minus one this morning with bright sun all over Chicagoland. Another inch of snow Saturday, then in the thirties until Wednesday and Thursday -- when lows will be 16-17.

This morning it was down to -2 and still have some snow all over the place. Now the sun is out very pretty, still snow all over the place. Heat wave coming this weekend.

Bright sunshine yesterday and this AM, YESSS! but it is starting to cloud over again. I need to get out & walk while there is still a little sun.

We are so lucky to have such beautiful weather right now, (highs in the upper 60s,) tho the prognosticators are starting to make noises over drought-type conditions.

Yesterday our patio thermometer registered 82° with 21% humidity, and it should be the same for the next few days, and might get slightly warmer. I have the pool heated to 87°, and so it feels quite warm. I would be fine with the pool a bit cooler, but my brother likes this temperature. Lew temperatures are quite cool at 55°, but it warms up quickly. Skies are very clear, giving us great views of the surrounding mountains. There is still snow on the highest peaks.
