I do have V's. Thankful Celeste introduced me to the VTs and did some great trades. They are all late to extra late and they all have a lot of buds and long bloom time. Nancy & Bob, I am pretty sure these have been bred with fulva in this or the previous generation.

Glad your VTs are doing well for you, Brad. I didn't take pics of most this fall because of the summer drought. It wouldn't be fair to them since by Sept. and October their foliage was looking ragged. But they still pumped out tons of blooms!

Nancy, I see you are still trying to give Volcano Queen a chance. When I sent that wispy little fan to you I figured it was toast. It hated my climate.

Love Venus Flytrap and Velvet Throne, Debra. I am glad you had a better pic of Venetian Pools. I liked that it was pretty consistent showing patterns, that pic I have may have been the only one that did not.

Celeste, Volcano Queen has 1 nice looking fan, the blooms are bright, it just is not multiplying. If it does not do better after I move it, it is gone. Vanilla Gorilla was new last spring and the blooms were down in the foliage so I did not take pictures. Hope mine looks more like yours this summer, it had multiplied well. You have so many I like, those purples really grab the eye!

Brad, I am glad you and Nancy posted Vintage Wine. It reminded me I have that one-probably in the jungle bed-there are so many in that bed I need to move. Velvet Throne fits its name. How velvety! And I love the lushness of that Vesuvian clump!

Voila Francois-never has a bad bloom. However, has never come close to registered height. I moved it this year in hopes of better performance but will keep it regardless because of its beauty

Vampire Bat doesn't wow me. For one thing, it won't set seeds for me. It is pollen fertile though.

Velvet Eyes is a rather unique color.

Venus Flytrap is another that won't set seeds for me.

Vertical Horizon is a beautiful flower, but it often gets overlooked in our crowded garden.

Victoria Lynette is a good grower, but not my favorite flower.

The flower of Vintage Velvet is lovely, but I don't think it likes our climate.

Vision of Glory (if that is what it really is) is never as intensely colored as its picture in the AHS database.

Viva Pinata makes a nice clump.

Volcano Queen is a beautiful flower, but it's not a very good grower.

Debra, this color on Vanishing Mist is what I see. I did look on Karol’s website and that color is different. However, I have always noticed her photos of EITV are not as vibrant as ours, either.

Nan - Venus Flytrap won't set seed for me either. I do like Vertical Horizon.
