No shutters. When you need to repaint, do something not so white. A great looking house as it is!

If you decide to do shutters do not install them on the triple windows. I think you're going to have a problem with that one window that intersects the swope on the roof.

None on the double or triple windows. They're too narrow to look operational, and a dead giveaway that they're fake. So that leaves you with only one window for shutters, so,,,No.

what about doing a copper awning over the left window? or refreshing those shakes? but I think copper would look killer.

I wouldn’t do shutters. I would replace exterior light with larger lantern and mustache detailing. It would add a lot of character to facade.

Now what’s needed more than anything else is a major redo of the landscape. Those hedges are not attractive. This stunning home deserves much better. Post your picture on the landscape forum - those folks will get you some awesome mockups.

Your color is very nice and your landscaping is far from “tired”, it is winter. i like shutters but they are expensive for what they are and to have installed. They also need yearly Maintenance, cleaning and painting to keep them looking nice. Like Beth pointed out, the top windows would look great with shutters.

The house looks great without shutters. The change from the red brick to painted brick looks amazing. Great job. I do think you could really enhance the look of your home with a little sprucing up of your landscaping. It’s calling for some color and flowers.
