Unless the tile guy is a magician, AVOID dark grout with white subway. Don't do it. If you are the tile guy? Spare yourself.............even if you ARE a magician. Nobody is that magical.

We did but, the opposite grout colors. Dark charcoal hex tile with gray grout on floor and white large subway with white grout on walls. I'd never do dark grout with white subway tile. And I would try to talk owner into a darker grout for the floor, it looks awesome! Let me know if you want to see a pic.

We did the same color grout on carrerra look subway on walls and grey black hex on floor. London Fog was the color, a taupe leaning towards grey shade. I LOVE it on the walls, looks just ok on floors. Wish we had gone with black on the floor
