Once when Rita was working on a Quilt using Kaffe Fasse prints, I mentioned that I had a ‘whack’ of these. She didn't know what a whack was, so here they are. We used to have a book store here in Ontario which dealt with remainders. I did buy several quilt books at a good price and in their last two catalogues, they featured these fat quarter bundles. They have been in the bin waiting for a good pattern. Jordan Fabrics last video did a style of Irish Chain using KF fabrics, so out they came.

It is really hard to undo that ribbon, so I am just pulling out several I think will work. And of course, I am only making a lap sized quilt, so lots of math figuring.

Cutting is my plan for this weekend.

OHHHHH! Theresa how yummy is that??? Can't wait to see the finish on whatever you do. I'll have to look up that video on Jordan Fabrics, I just recently discovered them and I like their videos a lot.

I would think I'd died and gone to heaven if I wound up with a "whack" of Kaffe's stuff! But then I'd probably hoard it because it is so yummy I'd be afraid to cut into it.

Hey girls - It's been difficult to keep up with what's shaking over here in the quilting forum - something has happened when I try to just lurk and it ain't happening. The site has been worked over and for some people the only way to get to certain forums is to sign in. So I'll be checking in but not as often. I wish I knew the email address to the tech department but I don't and every time I ask on other forums no-one answers. I know that I have the option to stay signed in but I don't like to leave a browser open all the time - I think that's asking for security problems even with virus protection.
