I think for daily life I’d do the sconces and put the upholstered chairs under them to allow for a more spacious feel. Lovely traditional room.

I guess I am in the minority but I like the art....which is unusual as I usually like a more clean sparce look !

I must say I like the art. The sconces feel traditional and the art feels individual.

I like the sconces better but I think larger sconces would look better. I find the different sizes and frames on the art doesn’t flow with what you have on the other walls, making it look disorganized.

What a lovely, lovely space. I like sconces but maybe a little beefier in size. You already have good taste, and I love the creamy walls with the white.

Um, neither? You already have a large china cabinet on that wall, along with the wainscoting, a mirror on one wall and art across from that. And 2 different kinds of chairs. There's a lot going on.

I would instead consider painting the walls one of the colors in your rug. I think blue would look very nice.

I would say keep it simple. You don’t need wall art on every wall. The hutch is the focal point of the room so let it shine!

Normally I might like art but I can’t say I really do here. On the other hand I don’t really like those scones much either. This is such a beautiful room but your lighting is so dark; it would be nice to see something lighter!

Also there isn’t a leaf to remove. Are the end chairs too small? Do they need to be taller? I still have the matching chairs but in armchair style but feel like it’s too much brown wood

No the end chairs are not too small. OK if there is no leaf, then have your rug & table positioned the same way your tray ceiling is positioned. From the photos I think that means turning both.

I like it without anything, as in your above pic. Looks nice with the other artwork and the round decorative mirror, that's all you need in my opinion. Also think your dining set is lovely as is.

I think the table won’t work flipped around. It’s sitting on an 8x10 rug and when I flip it it hits the front of the cabinet when centered

Rugs are centered in the room directly under the chandelier. It doesn’t matter if it touches the cabinet
