How tall is Bouteloua Blonde Ambition??

I have been growing a trio of ‘Blonde Ambition’ plants for the last three years and my three plants don’t come close to the stated height of canopy and flowers of 36” tall. I did see it described as about half that size in another site, which is much closer to my experience. Just wondering if anyone else has experience with this grass and how tall it gets for you.

Mine is way shorter than that but I did see them growing in a well watered garden with rich soil and I was surprised how large it was.

Perhaps I have to give them yet one more year to give me a better benchmark on how tall they get. I remember Tex admonishing me to be sure to give them enough space, but that was more about how wide they get.
