Foot Control Pedal isn't working

Hi, I just recently got my grandmother's old Brother project runway limited edition CE-5000PRW sewing machine. I've tried using it before and it worked but I just tried using it recently and the foot Control won't work. My machine doesn't have a on/off button and I would greatly appreciate any tips! Thank you so much

It should have an on/off button. as you sit facing the sewing machine, lean waaaaay over to the right, near the bottom, underneath the hand wheel. Other than that, make sure all the jacks are connected fully.

I couldn't figure out why my brand new machine had the foot control suddenly stop working. It seems that I had inadvertently unplugged the foot control from the jack on the side of the machine, when I jockeyed it to get the serial number from the back. It's all too common, I guess!
