I found online and then lost (computer updated and restarted) a front-mount brass towel bar. It is shaped like a long skinny "C," so all one piece. The open side attaches to the drawer or wall. Solid brass with a ribbed texture. Don't remember if it was 18" or 24." Somewhere between $100-150.

It was on a website with page after page of brass towel bars. 100's of them. I have spent hours trying to find it again.
