Stone/tile for new pool! Help!

Edit to add:

Here are the things I don’t like which are making this hard——blue tile next to brown stone, tan pool tiles when stacked high.

What would you put on these raised walls?

I am mainly worried about the raised walls between the hot tub edge (three little waterfalls spilling over) and the pool waterline. It’s about 2 feet, and it includes a wall to the left of hot tub, the hot tub spillover into pool itself, and then the two walls just to the right of hot tub. I am not as concerned with the big area above hot tub currently because I will just match them or borrow elements from below, maybe do a tile mural, who knows.

The concrete decking you walk on will be modern with concrete coping in the same color/texture and a straight edge. Contractor said in this small space, you don’t want a different color coping and I agree. So quite modern at least for the decking. But that doesn’t mean the whole thing must be ultra modern. It is modern by nature of the shape. I like some modern, some rustic...I am all over the map. But this space was tricky and needed a modern pool with straight lines. I am struggling to pick my other materials (Tile or stone veneer). The designer/contractor drew in blue tile In original plan for the raised walls and hot tube spillover, but I don’t like seeing the checkerboard look and the grout lines. Maybe I am building it up as bad in my head, and in reality, it would look okay? In photos online, I don’t like the look. Either of 6x6 or 2x2 or smaller.

There will be a wooden trex deck up above, Stairs haven’t been built yet.

i am worried all ledgerstone would look too busy. I am open to other stones but must be natural, no fake per contractor. Contractor wanted to break up the on these walls in questio....he suggested two types of tile (one for hot tub outside, one for other walls adjacent) or tile hot tub and stone on other walls, but I havent liked the photos I see online. The only photos I like online utilize all stone and one type. I am not even worried about area above hot tub, will just use some of the same materials once I figure out the materials right above waterline in the area I am most concerned with. anyone have suggestions? Thank you.
