If you're in the northern hemisphere, planting the tall plants on the north side will do the trick. Might set up trellises on the north side. Depending on your climate, be aware that the south-facing wall can get quite hot, which would be a problem for immature onions.

Suppose there are many ways, but you should consider succession planting, when plants will be planted, and whether they are cooler weather or warm weather veggies. Onions, lettuce, spinach, broccoli, radishes could be planted before the others and then pulled while the tomatoes, squash, and pole beans grow tall or big in mid summer. Sun is more important for the onions in April, May, or June.... not so much in July, August when the tomato plants are huge.

Also i would take into consideration how much sun, and if you get some shade in the morning or evening.
