If that's your only issue with Bluestar, get the Bluestar. The open burners are very easy to clean. I don't know what "messiness it creates" but cooking does create a mess at times, and you won't have any problem cleaning up the open burners.

BlueStar, hands down.

Your budget also needs to include at least 5/7K for ventilation and makeup air. That’s something most people don’t have on their radar.

I highly recommend Bluestar open burner.

In my experience, it is much easier to keep clean than a closed burner range.

I have the Bluestar. Not hard to clean at all. I also would not buy an appliance just to get a free dishwasher that I don't want.

IMO the DW is worth not much I will always suggest a Bosch DW as for the range find out all you can about both and how that works with your cooking style. I have bertazzoni 6 burner all gas rnage one of the burners is a wok burner . I love it but it does not have aself cleaning oven but not a big deal since I amused to commercial kitchens with no self cleaning ovens The range works for me both because I do a lot of wok cooking and I love baking some stuff in a gas oven. I also have double KA all electric wall ovens self cleaning I guess what I am trying to say is get what works for you and how you cook.
