Help with weed identification

I caught spring fever last weekend and spent some time working on the yard. I found a bad patch of weeds I need to address but not sure what it is. It was around last year but not nearly as bad as it is this year. Anybody know what it is or how to control it?

Cardamine hirsuta, hairy bittercress or shotweed. A cool season annual weed that appears in late winter to early spring (also sometimes in fall) and produces a massive amount of seeds. Removal before flowering is the best way to control - do not allow it to set seed. It is easily removed manually from moist soil or you can use a herbicide.
