Is the shower head/pipe stable post install?

I am about to return this item because the guy working on my shower is afraid to install it. He seems to think the long pipe that connecting to the shower head will not be stable. Is anyone else having issues with this? I really love the look of the product but I want to be certain that I won’t have to swap it out in short order.
