That's so generous of him! I haven't had much time to explore anything like this. But a yoga ad showed up in my Instagram feed where a guy seemed to want to share some tips and strategies in a course he was offering... it turns out it was rather expensive to join. I had mixed emotions about it because it was presented initially as a courtesy during this time, but 2 clicks away you had to pay for it. I had to remind myself that some of us can be generous with our time and money, and some simply have to do what it takes to stay afloat. I'm trying not to judge.

I was telling DH, why can't we help make masks?

Then I saw this: https://twitter.com/JillWineBanks/status/1240850722742247425?s=20

Re the face masks: has anyone found what weight of fabric is needed? I have fabric languishing that I bought to make pillows with and never got around to it. Wonder if that would work? I also have a set of sheets that I bought, used once and didn’t like. They are 100% cotton. Wonder if I could use them?

btw, I love that the CFO of Deaconess is also an accomplished stitcher! For some reason, professional women who have also mastered ”the feminine arts” make me want to cheer! Yes, we can be good in the boardroom AND we don’t have to turn into men to do it. Oh, excuse me.... that is a topic for a different thread on a different day.

Here's a how to...use 100% cotton fabric. The only thing you need is the 1/4" elastic to go around the ears.

AD, I think I have some elastic in my sewing box. I know the sheets are 100% cotton.
