put some legs on it and paint it all one color. Chalk paint is an easy application. Maybe the green from the lamp

What is the style of the bedroom.? What do you mean by reinforced? As for paint color I would need to know what the bedding is. It needs a base to keep it up off the floor

I wish it had never been faux painted. The interior doors look lovely.

Take out the shelves (keep the bottom two) and leave the interior as is.

Hang a heavy duty tension rod at the top for short hanging and a couple of shelves for folded clothing.

This idea of keeping original stain and painting exterior…don’t do chalk paint….yawn…but, if you must, then wax it.

I agree with the paint. I inherited this. Per questions above it is wobbly so just need to prob tighten things up or take us apart and re secure pieces together. the room is simple. It’s kinda of modern farmhouse. I have a black metal farmhouse style bed frame. Bedding is simple white bed spread with some grey and purples/blues decorative pillows. Above bed is some a set of three weathered wood framed floral prints with blues/purples.
