BARNHOUSE LIGHTING

I hung this light and do not like it for our rustic barnhouse? Any thoughts on something that really fits our entryway?
Much appreciated and stay safe everyone.

I think that fixture works well. But if you want alternatives, here are a few options:

    Darden Chandelier · More Info

Quoizel VYR5006ML Six Light Chandelier Voyager Malaga · More Info

Elk 12 Antler Chandelier · More Info

Check the diameters on these relative to your available room. It's possible you might have to move the canopy over to accommodate.

Thank you! Pretty much a prairie house.
People on this site are my inspiration❤️

The one picture was a train car I had made for an entertainment center in our family room.

The media railroad cattle car is my favorite. Our ranch overlooks a valley and we can see the trains going by from all our windows. Was my inspiration. These are cattle cars and in the early 1900s they moved ranchers cattle to larger markets this way. Our ranch brand is in the tiled area in the entryway.
Transit Windows above the bedroom door came from my husband’s great grandmothers house they were tearing down. Saved them and installed them inside our house and in the kitchens.
    Thank you for asking.

Anyway thank you for letting me bust my buttons.

Ohhhh, it's all so perfect and creative and unique! It is truly a beautiful home that well reflects the ranching lifestyle. That media railroad car is a divine stroke of genius! It all has an upscale yet extremely comfortable look about it, and that's a combination that's hard to achieve. Well done, and thank you so much for sharing!

PS ... is that a collection of Jack Bryant bronzes?

This is such a treat to see. You have a fantastic home!

Yes to my bronze collection. Each one reflects a family moment, as my kids are active in 4-h horses and cattle.
Thank you for the kind words

    love the photos..

Too bad you don't like it. Try changing the bulbs to frosted ones. The light will be much softer.

    Yeah, that bedding is gorgeous!

I think I would go with something more simple and modern rustic. I think your place is cool but I would not go as rustic I would do simple and clean

Any samples... lighting on that topic. I am not good with rustic modern

Not a pro. Here are some chandelier ideas that might work for you. Maybe you can get a skilled photoshopper (Celerygirl? Groveraxle?) to paint the full picture.

I always like the antlers in settings like this..

    Hi wedl002,

if you like rustic-styled chandeliers, perhaps these light fixtures from our parent company, Lusive Decor, would work for your barnhouse:

    Viktor Pendant

    Traviata Chandelier

    Arboria Chandelier

Lusive Decor specializes in making fully custom light fixtures catering to the high-end, luxury hotels, casinos, resorts, and spa's and many of their clients include MGM Grand, The Marriott, The Wynn, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino and several others. They are considered the preferred vendor for large-scale hospitality projects and one of the leading custom lighting design manufacturers in the USA with an extensive network of sales reps worldwide.

Lusive Decor has an industry-leading R&D team with an extensive network of close business relationships with raw material vendors in the USA and all over the world, be it hand-blown glass, metal, fabric linen, acrylic, resin, crystals, semi-precious gemstones and more.

All that is needed from you is a picture of the fixture that you'd like to be made, the desired specifications, quantity, the project's budgetary range, and have it sent to LDSales@lusivedecor.com and a member of the Lusive team will be in touch with you to walk you through the process.

Lastly, in light of the coronavirus pandemic and understanding that many designer businesses may be slow or stretched thin, our parent company is offering spec writing and design development as a service--free of charge--such as 3D renderings, mock-ups, and lighting specifications for the purposes of submitting to clients, presentation to a potential purchaser, and/or public project bids (local city/govt projects, constructions projects, and things of that nature).

We hope this information will help you make a more informed decision on your home needs.

    Very Best,

I like your fixture. If you want to add a different look just add some fake, yes fake, greens around the bottom of the fixture. There seems to be enough room between the bottom of the fixture and the actual light bulb. A simple fix for sure.
