Are the chair legs wood or brass/light bronze metal? Can't tell from photo. If metal, I'd go with a brass fixture. I think there's already enough black between the chairs, the table legs & grays in the rug. Even if the legs are wood, I'd still choose brass, perhaps even a mixture of mostly brass with some black.

I like the idea of rattan or a black and gold combo. Let me see what I can find.

@Design Interior South thank you for the ideas. I’m open to anything really. I’m not the best at coming up with stuff outside of my initial idea so I love the suggestions. Heres a photo of part of the living room that’s a partial open layout with the dining room.

Is this open to another area? Do you have other light fixtures visible from the dining room?

I like the Xenia that DIS posted (the light shade balances all the dark at the table/chairs) or the rattan lights.

How wide is your table?

Thank you. based off this I would eliminate the choice of a back fixture. The picture of your dining room and kitchen beyond leans dark without a ton of light so I would bring in the rattan or the last light I pictured (or something like it). what I like about the rattan is it brings in texture and the casual air the rest of your space has and it can transition across the mid century modern of your chairs and the chair in your family room with the rustic of your dining table. The last one is nice as well but it does have a more formal look, but again it can transition with all your elements.

I love the one above , I have no idea how rattan would work or the wood bead one either . Make sure all your bulbs are changed to be LEDs in 4000K it will make a huge difference in both the DR and the kitchen

I like this one because, it is a bit more airy. Unfortunately, I don't have the dimensions but I think the height of the chandelier will work with the height of your ceiling:

The light fixture shown in the restaurant on the website seems really big bit it is not. The tables are narrow.

BTW, can you give me the length of your table and the width of your current chandelier?

Are the legs of the table made of wood or metal?

@suzanne_m table is 84” x 42”. The legs are wood grain. The current light fixture is about 22” wide.
