Nice bathroom, and butterscotch [?] tiles... bronze. To me, I wouldn't add extremely rustic reclaimed unless its color has softened alot - why have too many dark items... ?

I assume the frame, etc. is brown...2 of this type, in a colored-up sepia ...? and better if art size didn't overwhelm mirror.

Looking at your photos, I'm seeing a definite need to lighten the overal look. If your budget is very strict right now, I would paint first, the walls and ceilings a lighter shade. This will give the room an immediate injection of "spaciousness ". Also, your ceiling is much to low for down facing vanity lights. can you turn your light fixture down? just loosen it up and spin it so the bulbs face downward.

(why do you want to light up the ceiling? if looking in the mirror, you want to be able to see the reflection in it! trust me, flip it around) like these:

I'd also use some cooler light bulbs. That's a lot of yellow/green in the room . aim for a 3500-4000K temp bulbs

your mirror is ok. I would NOT do the entire wall w/a mirror because your vanity doesn't go from wall to wall. I may have picked an unframed, beveled edge mirror though, that dark frame and dark light really close in that small space.

as for the open wall. try a piece of art and some shelves.

Maybe do a nice photo off to the right, and over the toilet so some shelves.

A lot of people choose frame's that are the same color as their vanity or their hardware. It looks like yours are similar in color, so whatever you decide, they will have a similar look. But you may have to remove the tile to get a larger mirror.

You have a fairly good stretch of wall btwn the vanity and toilet. I'd put a nice looking curtain rod to stretch out bath towels to dry. An all in one piece, rather than separate rod holders. My thoughts were the same as Beth's. Artwork on the wall nearest the vanity and a few open shelves near the toilet. Don't make them too large or you'll be looking for ways to fill them up!

Adding shelves no deeper than the toilet tank may encourage putting useless stuff on display, and the shelves would be too narrow for towels. I would hang some art in there...one larger piece or two or three smaller pieces.

You’ve got a nice, basic, well done bathroom. Very versatile, but reclaimed wood will not work. Keep it classic and use art which can be changed easily when you tire of it.
