I have a 900 sq foot condo. 2 bedrooms with open livingroom/dining room Carpet throughout is a grey blue. Carpets in bedrooms are in good shape and I would not like to replace. However, living room/dining room does need replacement. Should I try to match the 3 areas? Try and find a blue/grey carpet for the living room/dining room? Or go wildly in a different direction...a deeper blue or deeper gray in the area that needs replacement? Your thoughts are welcome. P.S. with the bedroom doors open, you see all three areas in one glance. I suspect it would be better to replace all the carpet, but cost is a factor.
