Hi. Are the boards representative of different rooms and how you would like to group your purchases?

If so:

first board is fine

second board- get rid of the rug(?) that is blue and tan (the one with the blue segments shaped like bowling pins). The other items on that board work well together.

third board- get rid of the two pillows in front of the pillow with the pink circles (looks like blue sky with red poppy flowers? And the blue and green leaf pattern one). Also, I couldn’t figure out what the piece is at the very bottom edge of the board, to the right of the pillow but the pattern doesn’t go well with what you have. Good board otherwise :-)

fourth board - deep breath. doesn’t seem like you have a set plan but it can work. Take all of the wall print art out except the blue/white abstract piece on the right side and the colorful lips/butterflies. That one piece in particular goes well with the rug. Also remove the metal square wall are on the right side. The rest looks like it will work well together and will make for a fun/interesting room.

I agree with @decoenthusiaste ! About the only farmhouse feeling was the windmill blade.Your 'mistake' ? calling your theme by the wrong name.

Agree with @decoenthusiaste on all points. It’s definitely not modern farmhouse...but fun and inviting. Have you already ordered all the chairs and sofas too? Just wondering if you did that without sitting in them first. Some things look good but are too uncomfortable to sit in...just a thought in case you haven’t already purchased.

I would agree this is not “farmhouse” but I didn’t mind- I didn’t focus on that. What you have on these boards reflects YOUR tastes. Even if you like the farmhouse style, you didn’t pigeonhole yourself to that particular style and that’s a good thing. Your space should be an outward reflection of you. You should be living in your element.

None of the pieces are bad. It’s just a matter of what visually goes together. Your style is eclectic and that is what will make the room. Own it!

I agree with other posters - not sure any of the boards you have posted say "modern farmhouse" but I do like many of your selections and will give you some feedback. The first board is modern and serene but the blue and white curtains are not appealing. The second board is a bit funky and Bohemian and appealing but, once again, doesn't say modern farmhouse to me. The third board is just straight up modern. The fourth board seems to have the most modern farmhouse appeal primarily because of the inclusion of more wood pieces. The artwork and accessories you've chosen in the fourth board also seem closer to modern farmhouse. Good luck with your decision. You have good taste and have amassed some very nice pieces.

IMO what is modern farmhouse anyway. I get what I like and I don’t really have a name for my style and I think that is what makes an interesting space. Now that you have the stuff I would suggest start by putting in the big necessary pieces in each space and then slowly add the accents until it feels right to you. Please no clocks, most of the wall art I like but not maybe in the rooms you think they will go. I never know where my art will go until all the other pieces are in a space.The DR is to matchy and for don’t like those 2 chairs together. Don’t like the bowling pin rug or the very traditional one but love the splatter one but with the blue velvet. Like I say slowly put it together until it is right for you. The art is pretty generic so as time goes by I would suggest you start collecting originals instead. We found when we started we went to the local art college to meet some up and coming artists to get a feel for what we loved. After this Cov mess is over it is fun for a Saturday afternoon to visit galleries too. Good luck in your new place it will be awesome .

Mark’s an architect. His focus would be the frame/structure. 😄 Interior design is a whole other layer that usually happens after his job is done (except for a remodel!). I think he’s being funny.

What exactly has been purchased and for which rooms? Do you have a furniture plan? I see boards full of stuff but not necessarily comfort or even utility. Not all that much POV. Scattershot repetition,little curation. How many benches/ottomans do you want? You've found some nice items but I don't"see" successful rooms in these boards. I am sorry for sounding so negative, but you asked for honesty.
