i failed miserably.. when i tried moving moss ... it grows everywhere but where i moved it ... this was pre WWW.. so it was probably my fault ...

but then i heard a talk about putting buttermilk and moss in a blender ... and painting that goo where ever you wanted moss ... but i already had a hate on for moss .. so i never looking into it further ... see here:

ps: i have recycled concrete .. i used it to build a low retaining wall .. stacked ... i dont know about lining a natural dry creek bed with it ... it seems contra to your natural area????

Never posted my area. I wish I had taken before pictures. I have reclaimed 12 S-10 truck loads of invasive uglies and dropped sticks, dead trees etc from this area. Got 4 more piles to p/u and burn.

The run off ditch was just a mud trough and I think it looks better with the stacked concrete and it will help hold the soil . I am leaving the bottom of the ditch just dirt so I can rake out the leaves and pine needles every spring. I asked my husband if he can see how good it will look once planted. But he doesn't have Garden Eyes so that was a No. He will like it when it is done and everything is grown in. Maybe 3 to 5 years... By then I will have added several more projects. I am in my happy place. :c)
