I've done the same when traveling Europe, Uk and Ireland. It's really nice.

The cons to using one at home are are it uses electricity and will make your laundry room a little bit warmer. And they don't come cheap. YMMV

In my laundry room (faces west and is very warm in summer anyway) I use the mainstream collapsible folding drying racks and a small table fan set on the floor to circulate air.

Thanks. My laundry room is in a lower level and always seems to be colder in the winter and cooler in the summer. I had thought that I might be able to use w/ heating feature in the winter and turn it off during the summer. Like you said though - pretty expensive to purchase if I use the feature for only half a year. :)

I use a dehumidifier in the summer to help dry some clothes in the basement, but a table fan might just work. Thanks, Cav.
