I would choose some sconces that are down lights and get a taller vase on the floor for what I hope are real pussy willows but taller. Since the credenza is very asian inspired I would keep to that design type for the decor. So a beautiful real orchid on one side and and maybe a beautiful vase or taller bowl on the other do the sconces in black asian design and the art could be something a little more interesting than a map maybe something with some black in it and more asian themed.

IMO those sconces need to be replaced.

I also think the glass on your wall decor is distracting to the vignette. A colorful canvas might be a better choice.

Lol, those sconces are new - they go with the statement lighting (Hubbardton Forge) I have in my home. See photo below. The map is not framed professionally, it is just poster board and needs to be dealt with. Maybe a more modern frame in black. I have another map of Aspen on the other side of the room. Yep, those are real pussy willows. Love them, but maybe they are to tall and should be cut down. Vase on floor is a no go, due to the 3 pets in household.
Never thought of the credenza as being Asian inspired. I’ll have to give that some thought. I pictured it more similar to an artsy/southwestern style. It is a Sundance piece. A white orchid could be really nice, or an organic moss bowl. Some good suggestions, thank you so much!

I would have gone southwestern with the lighting in your home, instead. Are those pet feeders on the right? Not quite where I would have put them either. Eliminate the runner. If you want it for protection to the credenza top, try some southwestern woven work instead. How about some SW pottery?
