reach-in closet door knobs--needed on the inside?

We're having reach in closets in the master bedroom, something like this (but 2 panel doors that have better trim)

There will be dummy doorknobs on the outside, Emtek quincy rosette with either Astoria (first one below) or Old Town Rosette. It's a 1940 bungalow cottage.
Do I need a dummy door knob on the inside of the closet doors? Seems unnecessary, except for possibly hanging a hanger on the knob once in awhile. (should I just put a hook on the middle of the door). Thanks for any thoughts and suggestions!
