We are remodeling our open concept, Spanish style, Modern farmhouse home and need ideas for our dining room wall. Please excuse the mess. I am hoping to redo the floors at some point in wood look lvp. We will likely be removing the electric fireplace (I don’t know what I was thinking)! I want the wall to feel special.

I‘be thought about either doing quartz stone ledger, painting in a rich blue gray, or maybe doing something with Spanish looking tiles sort of like in the second attached picture (too weird?). What would you do? Any other ideas? Any input is greatly appreciated!
