How did you determine one is rootstock and one is scion? Did you only compare fruit, or did you compare leaves as well. Can you post pic of leaves of both? Did you compare smell of crushed leaves of both? Can you post pics of the different fruits (if they appear different)?

Thank you poncirusguy6b452xx ! Chopped that sucker down. That also happened to be the one that had huge thorns, so I had a hunch but needed confirmation. Hopefully this helps out this poor tree.

I think I see some branches with trifoliate leaves. I hope what you chopped off were the branches with the trifoliate leaves and not unifoliate.

Yup Dave in NoVA it was the one with trifoliate leaves as well. One more confirmation that I got the right one, now I feel good about it :)
