Hi.....If your going to make this more of a dining room, I would match the living room.

Since it is a walk-through between the kitchen and living room, I would tie the color together in all three spaces.

would you use the same color, different shades of the same color or use one of those pamphlets from Sherman Williams with HGTV home where there is a bunch of colors to choose from that all go together?

Hi...I would use the same color, more cohesive.

I love color, so I would not do all three the same. You can see my dining room and my living room from my kitchen ( the kitchen is in the middle). I have three colors that flow nicely together, but they are not the same. I think it is a personal choice. If choosing colors is a challenge for you, then yes I would suggest the Sherwin Williams color collections. I think that makes choosing much easier.

I recommend using the same color.
