My apricot decided to start blooming rather early this year -- problem is, not many insects flying around. I did see a couple visiting the blooms this afternoon, but I think it's still too early for a good number of pollinators to be out and about. Anything I can do to increase chances of fruit set? Shaking the tree? Trying to hand pollinate the blooms I can reach? Or is it going to be a cr*ppy fruit year again?
