Take out the rock and put in either a lawn or a concrete driveway.

Replace the rusty mail box pole.

Fix the white fence so it doesn't look like crooked teeth.

Remove the tall juniper on the corner.

Install low shrubs or a hedge along this side of the house. If you are thinking of repainting, do that after removing the juniper and before planting the hedge.

Replace the chain link fence with a white wood fence like the one out front.

Fix the black thing in the corner of the window.

Fix the red thing in the middle of the window.

Take out all the fencing. CLF lowers property values the most and the post fence looks decrepit. If you can't get rid of the rock, kill the grass and add more rock at the car and in front, having it compacted. Remove trees crowding the house or dead. Improve the mailbox or put it on the house. When you can paint, look into colors like these.

Have a goal of limbing up any tree-like plants near the house so they have clear trunks to the eaves. Go as far as you can (50% of total plant height) each year.

The plant on the left corner looks like someone was making it into a cloud topiary.

If that is something you would like then keep it.

What's your budget, Crystal? If infinite, you can go to town with tons of stuff.

If very small, you can soften so many "errors" just by putting in some plants (you don't have that many errors, actually, I think your place looks cute, and I actually love the juniper as a central focus). Repaint that fence and put a clematis on it for color (or whatever long-season flowering vine that doesn't get too clingy is native to your area), put in some flowers, and it'll already look a hundred times nicer for not much money.

I would say I'd have some siding (like that window thingy going on) and some landscaping suggestions going on depending on your budget, but again, I don't want to suggest what you don't want to spend.
