when you brought them outside ... did you give them a week or two in shade.. before you put them in full sun ..???

if not.. you may have burned the leaves off ...

in other words.. more than one thing might be going on ....

Thanks for the feedback. I’ve been putting them outside little by little and I still bring them in at night if the temp is below 50. Scale! Yes, any idea how to treat it? I sprayed some Neem Oil today.

Tree(s) is small enough that you can pick off the scale. But be as thorough as you can. And continue to treat every few weeks with the neem to catch any larval stages that may be present.

I'd also consider removing the fruit from the one with no leaves. Sorry :-(( The tree will naturally want to focus its attention on fruit/seed production to the detriment of good foliar growth.......and it's the leaves that feed the tree.
