Daily. It’s the main walkway.

It won’t fit under the mirror. I was thinking under the stairs but I was hesitant because I was afraid it would eat up too much of the walkway. I definitely want to change the light, just have decided on what to use. There are actually two lights that I assumed should match and one at the top of the stairs that is visible as well that I was hoping to coordinate with.

I think the OP meant to place the table in front of the intake vent, if I’m not mistaken. I think the table would intrude too far into the walkway,

I know you didn’t ask, but I see a doorstop in the floor molding. My ankles would have collided with that. Check out the door stops which attach to the top hinge.

Even 36” is narrow for main entrance so I would say no.

Thanks for the input. You’re comments basically mirrored what I was thinking. I just feel like the hallway is missing something and I suck at decorating. I’d love to disguise the intake somehow. Thanks again!

The only spot for a table would be under the mirror. If that table you pictured doesn’t fit there, find another table. Your hallway is too narrow for a table on the long side, even the very narrow ones that Beth H. pictured. Not only would that placement be a hip-banger, but it would be visually uncomfortable due to the feeling of narrowness and running a gauntlet.

Or, just don’t put a table in that hallway at all, including under the mirror. If you need a place to put down keys, a floating shelf like Beth H pictured would work, but it would still need to be under the mirror.
