Also - the back corner stone area will have a cushion with this fabric on it

Is it going to be blue? I like all three colors and the couch style.

I do like the couch and I would vote for the light gray color. I am not sure that style is particularly kid friendly though so please think that through. The back cushions might be removable and washable but the seat isn't, not with those buttons. The seat is where the spills and stains happen, not to mention that crumbs somehow migrate to the button areas and collect deep into the crevices. I had a chair with buttons and once never again. Once a button gets loose, it's very noticeable and unattractive. Sorry to be the bearer of the negatives, just trying to save you some anguish in the long run.

IMO that sofa with 3 kids will look like garbage next year washable back cushions mean nothing the arms will be filthy in no time and so will the seat. Get some leather it will last and look great for years .I raised 3 rowdy boys with leather that sofa is now more than 40 yrs old and our son has it in his rec room he did have the seat cushions done with new foam but thats it.

Excuse me but I would call that a loveseat and not a sofa. Looks like you have room for a sofa. I have to say that the design really complements the great design of the room. Also, I would advise you to select a rug first just to make sure of your selection. I know that most would select gray for the room,..........I would too, but that dusty plum color is very interesting.

Plum Abstract Rug

With three small children, I would go with the darkest fabric.

Thank you everyone for your comments, definitely some things to think over, our kids aren’t delicate that’s for sure. The challenge is that with a virus we can’t really get access to couches. Any recommendations on a nice leather couch that would go with the Scandinavian/mid century modern look we’re going for? Also these apartment size couches (we are trying to stay between 72 and 76 inches) are around $750 Canadian each which is pretty good. Thank you to the person who posted the rug options, I do love purple however our accent colours tend to be more blue and green (The backsplash in our kitchen is blue/green with white grow) and gray and white is it OK to throw another colour in? Also what size would you recommend?
